S & H 1159 Costuming Seminar

This past weekend I just finished hosting a costuming seminar with Lorna Yates for the 19" S & H 1159. Our seminar was called "Return to Downton Abbey". I made the finished doll for everyone and Lorna taught the costuming class. I was able to also sit down and sew a costume, something I hadn't been able to do for quite a long time. It was three fun-filled days with great dolly-minded ladies! Here are a couple of photos from the seminar to share with you.

New!! 30" Bru 14 Available For Sale by Connie Zink at Land of Oz Dolls!!

I just finished a new 30" Bru 14. I had cleaned the head and fired it to bisque several years ago but had never gotten it painted until now. This beautiful Bru 14 is on a Bru body made by my husband and I from Compobell composition slip. The body is made from the Byron 400 Bru body mold. She has Hand English paperweight blue-grey glass eyes and a beautiful auburn-brown mohair wig. Her costume was made by Pam Willits in a typical French Bru style. She is available for purchase several ways. She may be purchased as a dressed doll for $1,095.00 or as an undressed doll for $895.00. She may also be purchased undressed without a wig for $795.00 or as the finished head only with the eyes for $595.00. Shipping costs will vary depending on your location and the option you choose. Please contact Connie at: landofozdolls@mchsi.com if you are interested in adding this beautiful doll to your collection. Here is a collection of photos to show you some of the various options.

Layaways are available and terms are flexible. I do accept credit cards and Paypal. More new dolls will be available soon so please check back periodically to see what is available. Until next time,
