Good morning everyone, I am busily trying to get ready for a doll show in Crawfordsville, Indiana this Saturday. It is a UFDC luncheon with sales tables. I am looking forward to getting to see many doll friends I haven't seen for awhile. Right now, I had a few minutes and decided it was time to get the pictures posted from the tour of Havencrest Castle that our doll retreat group took during the "Frenchette Retreat" in August. We had a marvelous time, Alan St. George, the owner, took us on a personal tour. We were there for three hours but only saw a small portion of the 63 room mansion. Havencrest Castle is not open to the public, it is the private residence of Alan St. George and the late Adrienne St. George, and I feel very privileged to have been allowed to take our doll group thru this magnificent mansion. We are scheduled to go again during the June 2013 "Bleuette Retreat". (There are currently three spots left in the June Retreat). For the May "Bleuette Retreat", for those that want to, we will be attending the "Music and Magic" show that will be held at Mr. St. George's theatre here in Savanna. I will soon be attempting to set up the date for another castle tour during the "Frenchette Retreat 2" "Weekend in Paris" that will be taking place the last weekend in October 2013. If you have a few minutes this morning, please sit down, relax, and enjoy a tour of this majestic mansion called "Havencrest Castle"
I hope you all have enjoyed the tour of Havencrest Castle. When I get some time I will go back and add captions under each picture with a description, but for now it is back to work. I need to finish painting some dolls that I would like to take with me to the Crawfordsville show. I hope you all have a great weekend and find some time for dolls!
Dolly Hugs,
Connie
